Armrest and Instrument Panel Primer and Stick Grips are Back

I continued working on the armrest and instrument panel carbon fiber finishing work. I sanded the center armrest and found that there were a few areas that needed some thickened epoxy to level out some of the dings from the initial sanding. So I mixed that up and let the armrest cure.

I sanded the instrument panel frame as well as the center console face. I also cut out an opening on the left side of the instrument panel to fit the 6 Aveo RockRack switches in front of the pilot. After initial sanding I found a few defects in the carbon fiber that needed to be filled with epoxy. Once that had cured, I sanded all the spots down and cleaned for priming. I then shot all of the parts with a coat of 2K High build primer.

Today we also received back our custom stick grips from Custom Aircraft Grips. They did an AMAZING job with our Amboyna Burl wood we sent. We will work to apply a nice finish coat to these before they get wired up.
